What is 8layer? Why 8layer?

The OSI, or Open System Interconnection, model defines a networking framework for implementing protocols in seven layers (The 7 Layers of the OSI Model). Control is passed from one layer to the next, starting at the application layer in one station, proceeding to the bottom layer, over the channel to the next station and back up the hierarchy.

We acknowledge the 7 Layers of the OSI Model. We believe though that there is an 8th Layer.

8layer - is the people.

It is he who defines, implements, controls, channels, and backs-up; the component that was not emphasized or mentioned in the whole PROCESS but is elemental in ensuring that each layer effectively does its work. After all, it is the 8th layer who will drive, define and prove if everything will make sense after all.

8layer - when all else fails… he knows what must be done.

Why Linux?

Linux has a well-deserved reputation for being stable, secure and reliable.

Are there really 8liens?

Yes, there are. Right now, there are less than twenty (20) 8liens taking camp in Remco Tower along West Capitol Drive in the City of Pasig. 8liens actually are endangered creatures that is why they have this urge to clone themselves, which is yet to be a possibility. Currently though, they have the tendency of breeding understudies through occasional learning sessions, weekly knowledge sharing and Free Linux Trainings. (The last three words are not typographical errors.)

Some have yet to be found though or find themselves the way to get here.
